Do you see yourself with the mindset of Adam or the mindset of Christ?
The mindset you look at yourself and others with will determine what you see, how you act, and how you think about life.
Did you ever see the movie, The Jungle Book?
It’s based on a true story of a boy who was raised by wolves in India and discovered in 1872. The boy had been taught by wolves how to live like a wolf. After he was brought to civilization, he had a hard time learning that he was a human being. Even though he may have thought he was a wolf, he was never a wolf.
We have been taught that we are sinning mortals and it’s hard for us to learn that we are actually spiritual, made in the image and likeness of God.
When you start with the premise that it is part of our nature to sin, then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you start with the Bible promise that we are made in the image and likeness of God, you begin to realized it is our nature to be good, honest, and pure. It is natural to be like God
You are made in the image and likeness of God
In this episode, I talk about the importance of starting with the right mindset, the mindset of Christ. It will make all the difference in your life.
And here’s an article about the Indian boy who was raised by wolves.
Thanks so much for listening. Please share this with a friend.
Have a great week.
Blessings,
James
